Godox Making Waves

Godox has really put their range of accessories into over-drive in the past few years, the range itself is rebranded through multiple different names depending in what county/ region you purchase the products. Between cheetah and Godox (coming from the same factory) the product line surpasses my expectations of the company from a pricing standpoint, continually evolving for their customers needs and wants.

Since 1993 Godox has been heavily involved in research and development of photography equipment including studio lights, portable lights, power pack, video light, macro light, camera flashes, studio remote controls, DSLR & SLR camera shutters, studio accessories and other camera accessories.

The impressive list so far rivals many of the big name competitors in the industry including elinchrome and profoto. The recent introduction of 2.4Ghz wireless in-built transmitters and receivers, moving forward from the previous 433Mhz range has been a major leap forward in this company’s continual growth.

Godox has recently improved the range of sony compatible accessories, branding them with an “S” instead of “C” for Canon or “N” for Nikon. While still programming and coding the software for sony compatible devices, there is a few notables that have already been released. We’re expecting big things from Godox / Cheetah
