The AD360ii is somewhere between speedlite and strobe, actually it's somewhere between 4 speedlites and a strobe. High portability in a 360w/s bare bulb flash not much larger then a speedlite is known as the AD360ii, still to big to be mounted on camera safely (At risk of damaging your hotshoe) the ad360ii is definitely designed to be an off camera portable strobe / flash.

As with all new Godox models the AD6360ii has a built in 2.4Ghz wireless receiver that can be triggered by the X1 series transmitters or by any other godox 2.4Ghz speedlite.

Godox specially Designed the AD360ii to be paired with the PROPAC960 11.1v (same voltage as AD600) 4500mAh battery pack to deliver 450 full power flashes with a 2.5 second recycle time when used with optional Y battery cable.

This is the perfect carry around bare bulb when the sun isn't quite down and the speedlite just doesn't cut it.

The AD360ii Sony hotshoe configuration has not been released yet, but considering you wouldn't want to mount this on your camera anyway, the Sony X1 series of transmitters will fire either the Nikon or canon mount and vice versa.

AD360ii with battery pack retails around $650 AUD but they can be picked up cheaper if you can wait.
