Yongnuo YN560II Speedlite

Yongnuo YN560II is a Full manual (Non-TTL Non HSS) 2.4Ghz wireless Speedlite manufactured in China. Compatible with Sony’s A7 line of camera’s it is capable of reaching shutter speeds of 1/200’s. This 2.4Ghz version is compatible with Yongnuo’s RF603 transmitter for off camera flash work, both work correctly paired with the A7 series.

With a GN58 @ 105mm Zoom it is comparable to Godox’s TT600s and TT685s in terms of output power, lacking the TTL & HSS functionality that Godox has implemented.

Surprisingly well built Speedlite in terms of cost, this YN560II will set you back around $135 AUD depending on point of sale. When compared to the extra $30-$50 AUD that the Godox TT685s will cost paired with HSS & TTL it’s questionable not to go the extra for a much better piece of hardware.
