Using AA batteries for Flashes, Triggers, Continuos LED panels, Video lights and other accessories can become pretty expensive if they're used often enough. Unlike some of the higher end flashes that come pre packaged with rechargeable Li-on battery packs, there becomes a certain need for something more sustainable. There are a multitude of rechargeable battery manufacturers with a good reputation for providing quality, long lasting performance.
The price of a battery will greatly effect your outcome in the field, they aren't "cheap" but using something like a Godox TT685s with standard non rechargeable 1250mAh batteries (getting around 200) half power flashes before they're flat, you'll quickly add up costs for a throw away item. I truly believe the saying "The poor man always pays twice" accurately reflects your choice in battery power. This saying also goes for cheap Chinese eBay rechargeable batteries... yeh 40 rechargeable batteries for $12.. couldn't go wrong.
